Where the fork meets the pork. Why settle for good Beer, when you can have Great Beer?
Microbrews...22 rotating taps, plus one cask conditioned beer, have been hand selected for your pairing (and drinking) pleasure. We go to great lengths to find the most rare, most unique, and most first-rate beers. Here you won't find Coors, Heineken, or Bud. What? Well, we've devoted our beer line up to those special brews that not only enhance the food we serve, but also represent some of the finest beers you'll find around. We like to think we can convert anyone. On any given week, we'll go through 10 kegs, so don't be surprised when you come in and don't see the beer you drank yesterday. We've replaced it; it's gone, dunzo, adios...you'll be lucky to ever have the same beer twice. Grab a pint that pairs well with the 'que or just come in for a drink on its own...we don't care, but please try one of these beers, you won't be sorry. We offer slow-smoked ribs, chicken, brisket, homemade sausages and pulled pork. The menu also features fish, salads and sandwiches. Large selection of craft beers. Delivery and catering offered.
BBQ, the great divider, the true American cuisine, differing from region to region, appreciated by millions, is the gateway to endless dialogues about technique, authenticity and even meaning. Like our fellow debaters, we have an opinion, like it or not. The Beachwood Way is our interpretation, our vision, our take on BBQ tradition. Our approach is low and slow. All our meats are slow smoked and dry rubbed, succulently flavored to allow the true meat flavor to stand on its own - that means no saucy coating. No sauce? Yes, but you do have a variety of tableside sauces to choose from, if you so please. Homemade and from scratch means our food takes a little longer to prepare. All our appetizers and entrees are prepared to order. So, it may take a bit longer for your food to arrive at your table, but rest assured, once it does you will appreciate the efforts and lengths we go to serve high quality, uncompromisingly tasty 'que.
Stopped in here after the bruery party for the tasting. What an awesome place. First off, this place is small, and our group was quite large. We squeezed our way in and grabbed the last few seats at the table. The place was packed with tons of local BA's there for the tasting and others just looking to eat and drink that this awesome spot. The quality was absolutely top notch. From the amazing food to the excellent beer selection. All the beers were served in the correct glassware and nothing in the place felt cheep. The service could not have been better. Like I said our group was quite large and they didn't mind at all. Our server Jackie was great and she really knew her stuff. The owner, Gabe, came around quite a bit and was a really cool guy. He even opened a few bottles for all of us to try. The only thing better than the service was the food, which was just awesome. I got the triple meet sampler made up of ribs, smoked chicken, and brisket with sweet potato fries and blue cheese grits. I could only eat half of it because there was just so much food. I ate the rest the next day and it was just as good as the night before. I just wish I could have tried even more because I spied quite a few things on the menu I would have liked to try. Prices were very good. My huge meal was only $20 and the beers were just as reasonable. Now, on to the beer. So many tasty offerings, so little time. I really wanted to try the Midnight Sun panty peeler but it kicked right when we walked in the door, oh well, I had to settle for the Stone double dry hopped sublimely self-righteous...yeah poor me. After that I was going to go with the cask ruination with simcoe but they put a keg of Moylan's apple brandy barrel aged double kilt lifter on, yeah I know so many words, and I just had to get it. One of the best tap lists I have seen in some time. Overall one of my favorite stops on my trip to cali. I can't wait to see how the new brewpub location turns out. If it is anything like this place I am sure it will be one of the best. Reviewed on: 01-12-2011 21:20:11

I absolutely love this place. It's a small restaurant in a very laid back beach city in North OC that serves exceptional beers and exceptional food. This combo is very rare to find, but when you do find it, patronize the hell out of the place. The service has always been excellent and everyone, from the wait staff to the owner/chef, are all just very nice people who love beer and food. Only downfall is that the wait can sometimes be a pain because of its size and popularity, but its a good pain because you'll likely be sipping on some good beer. Reviewed on: 12-10-2010 00:12:59
