I have been very impressed with Leo from the start. I researched who was the best in long beach to fix my used Volvo that I bought last October. He is the type of person that I can call over the phone and ask how to remove/install a part myself and he will tell you. I think service is reflective of attitude. If you come in as a pretentious jacka$$ you are going to get the service you deserve. If you come in as a reasonable person, people (and especially Leo and LaDonna) will bend over backwards to help you and in an honest way! I have had only one time that I questioned a response from Leo and it was only a matter of degrees. I asked him to check my brakes fully expecting that I was chewing up the rotor. He told me that I was about 10%. I did my own brakes and discovered they were closer to 20% but we are talking a millimeter difference. I have been to MANY dealers and independents over the decades. Leo is the best I have found so far, and that is saying something. My wife is more than comfortable talking with Leo or Ladonna and they have helped us out in many ways!

We take our BMW to SHFAS, and I can tell you Leo and his shop are top notch. Everything you're looking for in an auto mechanic: knowledgeable, honest, thorough, repairs & service done quickly & at a much lower cost than the local dealer. If you're looking for a great independent mechanic for Euro cars in the greater LB area, you can't go wrong with this shop.

- I love this place. My husband and I have a Volvo S60 and an S70. Leo is very trustworthy and it is great how they suggest finding cheaper parts ahead of time on eBay and at salvage yards. They help look for parts as well and will only order new if they absolutely have to or if you only want new. It is cool how I can show up with all of these random parts, ask them to fix or install them and they just charge me for the labor.
